 TSA PLAY UP POLICY

TSA Policy Memo: Playing Up To Older Age Groups - All Sports

All requests for kids to play up to an age group older than their league age must be reviewed and approved by the TSA board. Commissioners of their sport will provide the board with names, birthdays, and other pertinent details of kids requesting to play up. Commissioners will make their recommendations to the board. A majority vote will decide each request. The president will only vote in the case of a tie. Decisions made by the TSA board are final. Many considerations are given in these situations. Decisions will be made on an individual basis. TSA does not guarantee any requests to “play up.”

Adopted: 2017
